From Hardship to Hope: Nakawa Children Receive School Support from Jowennah Hope Foundation
Jowennah Hope Foundation reached out to underprivileged children in Nakawa Parish, Nakawa Division, through the donation of essential scholastic materials. The initiative benefited over 100 learners aged between 5 and 17, ranging from baby class to Senior Four. Items distributed included exercise books, school bags, geometry sets, pens, pencils, and other learning supplies to support their academic journey.
Prior to the handover, the Foundation’s team leaders, alongside the Deputy Speaker of the Division Urban Council, Rt. Hon. Jalia Nalubwama, offered guidance and encouragement to the children and their parents. They urged them to remain committed to education despite hardships, emphasizing that learning is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and building a brighter future.
