Jowennah Hope Foundation Empowers Over 100 Nakawa Children with Essential Scholastic Materials
Jowennah Hope Foundation extended a helping hand to underprivileged children in Nakawa Parish, Nakawa Division, by donating essential scholastic materials. More than 100 learners aged between 5 and 17, from baby class to Senior Four, benefited from the initiative. The donated items included exercise books, school bags, geometry sets, pens, pencils, and other learning materials aimed at supporting their education.
Before the official handover, the Foundation’s team leaders, together with the Deputy Speaker of the Division Urban Council, Rt. Hon. Jalia Nalubwama, held a counseling session with the children and their parents. They encouraged them to remain focused, work hard despite financial challenges, and value education as a powerful tool for transforming their lives and building a better future.
